Matt Garber

It still is taking time for it to sink in that you are gone, but I have not forgot your life and how much joy you brought to God, Me, and others.

Thanks for the friendship and the laughs.  The fun and meaningful drives to and from EMU.  Great fun family gatherings.  Thanks for the many stories that intrigued me, and for your honesty and care, for me and others.

We will do our best to keep the Garber legacy of big smiles, warm hearts and strong opinions rocking along in this journey of life.

Thanks Again, Your Cousin,

Josiah Garber

Tonight I watched Matt’s younger brother play in the Lancaster Lebanon championship game….also awarded a spot on the all star team. Indeed all I could think about was the emptiness of not seeing Matt in the stands. I’m sure the grief we feel is a tribute to person we miss. When we love much we grieve equally so. I share this tribute with you, Josiah, ….Jonathan

Josiah – this is a really nice tribute. I wanted to ask you if there would be anyway to buy one of the pictures of Matt (if any) from your wedding day. That was the last day I saw him and I’d love to have a picture of him from that day. I wish I had been able to stay for your reception and really enjoy that time, but it can’t be changed now. Let me know if there’s a way I could order one.

    Thanks!
