Put your Hope back where it belongs…

in Jesus Christ. He won’t let you down.

In the midst of all the economic and political ‘turmoil’ of the past couple of years I think it would be wise to consider a couple verses.

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
-1 Timothy 6:17 (NIV)

And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
-Romans 5:5 (NIV)

Don’t be fooled in thinking that your worldly hope can replace a faith in Jesus Christ.  I am certain that if we do not have our Faith in Jesus we will be disappointed or something worse.

I don’t believe in being flippant or in not preparing for the changes in our world, but if you did all this perfectly and never walked with Jesus your life is in vain.

As you put your hope where it belongs: In Jesus, You will begin to see that God does care for you.  Your Faith will be built as you find Jesus to be worthy of your Hope and Trust.
