   I’m going to do my best not to troll, but this video is pretty disgusting to those of use who are out there working to build relationships with the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. There is some prejudice in the Army, yes, just as there is prejudice in every other corner of society. But we are not terrorists – we do not use terror as a weapon. We do not purposefully blow up marketplaces, schools, religious institutions, or infrastructure. We do not cut our prisoners heads off. You can argue what you like about Abu Ghraib or the Marines in Haditha, but the fact is you wouldn’t even know those atrocities had occurred if they were not so far gone from the norm as to be despicable to every good soldier.

   I hope you will seek out other soldier’s thoughts and opinions on this matter before you write off the military as racist terrorists. A good place to start might be 1LT Rajiv Srinivasan’s blog.    I do not think the military is made up of racist terrorists. I posted this because I feel it shows the reality of war for this young man. I believe that most people in the military have good intentions. I also believe that many are realizing that our foreign policy of preemptive invasion is failing.
